01 How we work

Sharjah work, run from our Al Quoz workshop

Our workshop is in Al Quoz, Dubai. We don’t have a Sharjah office, and we don’t pass Sharjah jobs to a local subcontractor — the same fitters who work our Dubai projects come to yours.

Sharjah is close in kilometres and far in traffic. The roads between Dubai and Sharjah are among the most congested in the country at commute peaks, so we plan crew travel around them rather than into them: early starts, or a mid-morning arrival once the inbound traffic has cleared. A fitter who has spent ninety minutes in a queue is not the fitter you want matching a pattern repeat.

Materials are batch-checked and counted in Al Quoz before they travel, so nothing is opened for the first time on your site. For the full commercial range and our approach across the country, see our commercial wallcoverings across the UAE.

02 Timing

When Sharjah buildings are empty — and when we hang

Sharjah’s working week differs from Dubai’s, which changes when an occupied building can be wallpapered without disruption.

BuildingWhen it’s usually emptyWhen we work
Sharjah government officesGovernment staff work Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–3:30pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday is the official weekend.Fri–Sun or weekday afternoons
Private-sector officesUsually Saturday and Sunday, varying by employerWeekends or evenings to 10pm
Schools and universitiesTerm holidays, and after classes finishHolidays for full rooms, afternoons for single walls
Clinics and medical centresOutside clinic hoursEvenings and closed days, zone by zone
Retail and showroomsAfter closingAfter hours so no trading day is lost
Free-zone and industrial unitsShutdown days and shift changesBy arrangement, with gate passes in place before the date

We work seven days a week, 8am to 10pm, so we can usually fit the programme to whichever of these windows your building has.

03 Districts

Where we work in Sharjah

Sharjah’s commercial work is weighted differently from Dubai’s: fewer tower offices, more education, healthcare, industrial, and community retail.

Al Majaz & Al Khan

Office floors, hotels, and F&B along the lagoon and waterfront. A mix of older and refurbished buildings, so the substrate varies from floor to floor.

Al Taawun & Al Nahda

Mixed-use towers with ground-floor retail and medical centres. Commercial vinyl for corridors and waiting areas does most of the work here.

Muwaileh & University City

Universities, schools and hospitals, and the commercial strips that serve them. Scrubbable, low-level-contact finishes and holiday programmes.

Al Qasimia & central Sharjah

Older office and retail stock. Expect painted, previously papered, or rendered walls — and the most preparation.

Industrial Areas & Al Saj'aa

Showrooms and offices on industrial plots. Block and render walls that need sealing, and dust control before anything goes up.

SAIF Zone & Hamriyah Free Zone

Admin offices and reception areas in the free zones. Gate passes for crew and vehicles need to be arranged before the survey and installation.

Aljada, Al Zahia & Tilal City

New-build retail, schools, clinics and sales centres. Wait for the air-conditioning to be commissioned before hanging — new plaster and summer heat undo adhesive.

04 Sectors

The commercial work we take on in Sharjah

Schools and universities

Classrooms, corridors, and reception areas in scrubbable vinyl, programmed into term holidays so nothing overlaps with teaching.

Clinics and medical centres

Waiting areas and corridors that take daily disinfection, hung zone by zone outside clinic hours.

Government and private offices

Reception walls, meeting rooms, and open-plan offices hung over the three-day government weekend or a private-sector weekend. See also office wallpaper.

Showrooms and trade counters

Brand walls and printed murals for showrooms in industrial areas and on the main commercial roads.

Retail and F&B

Community malls and high-street units, hung after closing. Hospitality work along the waterfront follows our hotel wallcoverings approach.

Where your project needs a fire classification on record for Sharjah Civil Defence, we obtain the manufacturer’s test report for the exact product reference you are specifying and give it to you before the order is placed. Your consultant or contractor confirms which classification is required; we confirm whether the material can meet it, and propose an alternative if it can’t.

What commercial wallpaper costs in Sharjah

Installation — wallpaper fixing, as most people in Sharjah call it — is usually charged per roll on top of the material. When we supply the wallcovering, it is included: you pay for the material, not the fitting.

The material figure depends on the product, the measured area and drop height, the condition of the substrate and whether lining is needed. We don’t publish a rate card, because a number given before a survey gets revised on site. The survey is free, and you receive a written quotation broken down by area before anything is charged.

Frequently Asked Question

How much does commercial wallpaper cost in Sharjah?

When we supply the wallcovering, installation is included — you pay for the material only. The material cost depends on the product, the measured area, the substrate and any lining needed, so we quote in writing after a free site survey rather than from a rate card.

No. Our workshop is in Al Quoz, Dubai. Our own fitters travel to Sharjah projects — we don’t subcontract them locally — and we plan travel around the Dubai–Sharjah commute peaks.

Yes. Sharjah government offices work Monday to Thursday with Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the weekend, and we work seven days a week. That three-day window is usually enough to hang a full floor and return it before Monday.

Yes, by phasing. Schools are best done in term holidays; single walls can be hung after classes. Clinics are done zone by zone outside clinic hours, so waiting areas and corridors stay usable.

Yes. Free-zone sites need gate passes for our crew and vehicle, so we ask you to arrange access before the survey date and again before installation.

We obtain the manufacturer’s fire test report for the exact product reference you specify and pass it to you before ordering. Your consultant confirms which classification the project requires; we confirm whether the material can meet it.
